At Original Engines Co we believe that our ongoing success is solely attributed to our fantastic team. We are very fortunate to have exceptional people who care about the work they do each and every day. We try to celebrate this effort as often as possible, and recently decided to change up a Friday with a fun activity and guest speaker, at a local venue!
Sam and his team, from Uplift Events, held a “Your Generation” Game Show exclusively for us. They have modelled the event off the successful Australian TV show, and games included different categories like videos, music, charades, dancing, identifying movies and commercials, singing, putting physical items into chronological order plus many more.
It was a huge hit with all our team members, with plenty of laughs, some embarrassing moments, but most importantly – genuine collaboration and teamwork.
After lunch, we heard from keynote speaker Mark Carter who is internationally recognised for his inspirational speeches and training skills. His insightful session saw him speak to the Original Engines Co team about potential, self-confidence, goals, behaviour styles and collaboration – which we know helped many of our team members in both their work and personal lives.
